On this page we'll be happy to share with everyone the on-going work of St. Luke's Evangelical
Christian Church of Chapel Hill, the teaching branch of Mushana Sunshine Outreach Ministry, Incorporated.
PERSONAL EVANGELISM
Jesus gave a commission to all his disciples. We are to GO.. PREACH..AND BAPTISE... Mark 16:15,16
Go into all the
earth preaching the word of God and baptising those that recieve into the body of Christ and water.
Our work takes
us into the "highways and hedges" to fulfill God's calling on our lives, and we participate in door to door witnessing to
take the Good News of the promise that Jesus has given us into the homes of those who recieve. We meet so many wonderful people
and hope to build a relationship with each addition that the Lord will send our way. In Jesus name. Amen.
COMMUNITY
OUTREACH
Our ministry is one that is dedicated to the people that we serve. We have realized the call of evangelists
on our lives and our church is one that is being constructed outside of the walls of the traditional chuch building.
Our
love for the Lord and our obedience to obey His will for us allows His awesome prescence to manifest itself in our lives on
a daily basis. To further serve the needs of our community we operate in several capacities. Our ministry focuses on: Personal
Evangelism, Clothes Closet and Food Pantry.
Currently we have been in partnership with the Food Bank of Central and
Eastern North Carolina to ditribute food supplies to whoever needs it . This ministry has been on going for about 11 months
and we have been blessed to be able to provide assistance to at least 200 families at different times. Thank God for this
ministry and for every volunteer who comes out to help us distribute the food items and clothing pieces as well.
Britthaven of Chapel Hill Nursing Home Ministry
Recently our time at Britthaven of Chapel Hill has come to an exciting
and rewarding end. We pray that the patrons there will continue to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might because
they are indeed as the flower that was held before them. We continually ministered to these lovely persons in words of encouragement
that God has not finished His expected purposes in each of their lives yet. There are many trials still facing each resident,
staff member, administration member and we ask that all prayers be sent heavenward by the saints and by the intercessors for
the breath of life to remain strong and renewing in each of these lives we have had the opportunity to become family members
with. Praise God for His mercy and for His evidence of glory and greatness among each of us and each of you.
Miracles are the places that God reaches from heaven and personally touches
our situations and asks our attention towards Him. Praise God, mighty and magnificent.
Hill Song Church
Our ministry has formed a partnership with a local church body here
in Chapel Hill. The church is named Hill Song Church and these folks help us on the 4th Mondays with the Food Distribution.
They come out and they place their hands to the work of distributing the many pallets of food to the eager recipients. They
also have provided the transportation that we need on these 4th Mondays to get the food to the senior community located a
few blocks from us. We attend Hill Song Church's worship services when time allows and we just support one another in this
ministry work that abounds. Praise God for Hill Song Church and their heart for the Lord Jesus Christ.
We lift to God HillSong Church in all their efforts and remembrances of Him. May God's
love continue flowing upon each life and each new soul hearing of the Lord's mighty ways at HillSong Church.
Vacaton Bible School is coming up for HillSong Church here in Chapel Hill and it would
be so rewarding for your youth to be present in the gathering of those coming to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Check

Men's Intercessory Prayer Group @ University Baptist Church
The occasion has come for us to be present on Sundayu mornings at 9:00am until 9:30am for
a time of intercession for the needs of the University Baptist Church ministry and of prayer concerns of the surrounding community.
This is a wonderful experience for me personally and spiritually and God continues to show HImself faithful and enduring towards
forgiving us our sins through Christ Jesus our Lord. Please recall University Baptist Church in your several prayers also.
