We thank Pastor Cathleen Hooper of Saint Luke United Holy Church of Sanford, North Carolina for her stirring word of faith and love delivered on Saturday April 7, 2007 at our HillSong Church service. Her topic for the afternoon was titled, "The Blood Of Jesus." It was an incredible time.

We also thank Deacon Sandy Hooper for accompanying her on this invitation.

We also lift up the entire Saint Luke United Holy Church family and leadership at this moment and ask God to continue raining down His blessings and favors and mercies upon them all.

On July 4, 2007, we attended a wonderful gathering at Wilson Park in Carrboro, North Carolina along with the friends and family and church community of University Baptist Church. We had a wonderful time. My wife got a chance to play her guitar some and she sang a song she and myself had written for the birthday of our loved one, Aunt Rachel. Good food, nice weather and many smiles accompanied our afternoon with UBC.

In this time that we presently find ourselves living in, there are so many questions that seem to float into our minds. Especially, as we strive to live in the way that God would have all born again Christians to do. This is just a quick reminder that there are 4 THINGS GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW. Let's look at them now and begin to allow them to shape us.

4 THINGS GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW

1. YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. (JOHN 3:3)*

2. YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF. (EPHESIANS 2:8,9)*

3. JESUS HAS PROVIDED FOR YOUR SALVATION. (2 CORINTHIANS 5:21)*

4. YOU CAN BE SAVED TODAY. (2 CORINTHIANS 6:2)*

Let us soon get it right with God.

This is how our lives appear to most who come into contact with us and having faith is no easy expression to pass along. If your life is as understandable as this hieroglyphic you better praise God because he told you that you were fearfully and wonderfully made and because His eternal work of forgiving men their sins for ever through the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ proves that He is more than willing and greatly able to create a masterpiece out of whatever despair and darkness your life is going through right now. God ought to be glorified. You ought to be telling him thank you for giving you another day, for keeping that needle out of your arm and your genitals, for keeping them boys from yoking you up last night when they thought you was somebody else. You ought to thank God that you didn't die when you was so intoxicated with all them drugs that you passed out in a stranger's living room. You ought to thank God that that pimp didn't beat your brains out last night for being with them. You ought to thank God that them acts that you call sex work didn't paralyze you from the waist down. You better thank God that someobody able to think about you and beat you and send you to the arms and the tears and stripes of Jesus Christ. God says that He'll see you one way or another. God knows the time only has to roll on a little longer for you to know that you gotta call out to someone who has some strength that you ain't seen yet. Muscles don't do nothing but sag and flop in old age man. You betta have the biggest muscle in the home that your heart is intended to be. Look at you. Heart all junky. Trying to clean it up for years and years, but it ain't working homie. God know you can't clean that crap up in your heart by your lonesome. Gotta have some Sacrificial Blood Shed For You Strength working in that thang. God got plans to get you right but you won't come and see about no God. Too busy. Like I said, God see you around. You'll come back when you need him.
